Becoming a Treys Angel and doing my first Angels With Heart Mission
The date was set. After meeting and greeting with my new Angel Sisters at our local mall I was given the date of October 15 and the place was Belle Isle. I was excited to be a part of a fan club, this fan club. I had never joined a fan club before and didn’t expect much maybe an autographed picture at the most but I got so much more. This is something that I was not used to. Being from the hood in Detroit, MI I was never exposed to giving back and never knew that events or real people that did such things existed. I was excited as I explained the mission to my kids, they asked me how I was supposed to be walking and my disability (MS) wouldn’t allow me to walk the entire 5 miles. But I was determined to at least attempt to walk far as I could. I was brimming with excitement about the upcoming mission. Multiple Sclerosis Walk
I really don't know why I've waited so long to publish these never the less I am publishing now. This was the 2nd yr in a row that we've have done the walk. It was a 3 mile walk around downtown Detroit, Mi. The first yr it was my Angel Sisters, my kids and myself. This yr it was just my kids and myself in order to find a cure to beat Multiple Sclerosis. I have been diagnosed since June 2010, I have known about the condition for possibly 10 yrs but to never have gotten the necessary test performed to complete my diagnosis sooner. I was diagnosed with having Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis. It has taken a lot my livelyhood away from me but it doesn't stop me from living my life. I will always be in support of such a great cause.
Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
So today I walked for Breast Cancer Awareness in downtown Detroit, Michigan. Usually I meet my Angel Sisters there but today I didn't see them anywhere. But regardless to everything I went to support the cause, support the people who have lost their battles, people that are struggling with same battles, and the care givers, families and friend of people tht went through struggles with Breast Cancer. Honestly I went there alone but was so overwhelmed with love and support of all of the participants that I encountered today. It always warms my heart to share love, my love for a cause so great.
Breast Cancer Awareness Walk
Today I will be walking in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness. This is my 3 year walking. Not sure how long I will be walking but Im going to be outchea. Treys Angels style, my sisters will be walking as well. I can't wait. Im going to be late but better late than never. I am proud to be walking in honor of all Breast Cancer Victims. R

My natural hair
I love whn I wash my hair and it curls up. I try to make sure keep my hair lookn its best. My daughter was laughn at me whn my hair curld up, telln me tht I had the gherry curl tht I always wantd. Lol I laughd really hard.

Natural Hair
So I am entering a new realm of natural hair care. I have not had a relaxer in my hair since 2010. My hair was natual before that. But then I moved to Indiana I didn't take care of my hair so my hair broke off. Byt once I cut my damaged hair off I began to let it grow back.
No Grammy for Trey?!? Again!!
So I was mad recently as I waited for the Grammies this past Sunday. Trey had been nominated once again for his music, this time on Chapter V. "Heart Attack" Best Male R&B. We all were excited because we knew that he deserved a Grammy for all of his excellent work, his best effort. But once again they past him up for another artist "Miguel" and his song "Adorn". Not saying that Miguels song wasn't good, indeed it was but really? My soul was hurt and it stung my gut to hear that he didn't win. I was sick as my eyes began to water my mind raced thinking of all of the reasons why they would deny him once again. And he, Trey himself believed he had a great chance this time to win.
